To the attention of LTB, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN/INTEREST
My rent receiver disturbed me in my sleep at 23h30 on December 03. He wanted to show the room around midnight to make it a double occupancy room. This is very disturbing. This room is a small size room for single occupancy not suitable for double occupancy. Lawyers should look into this and help me deal with this situation. I just moved here on December 01 and he has started creating problems. I need to add some furniture, a sofa, a chair, a desk, a cabinet etc. in this room, there is no space for second person. $500 per month is high rent for just one bed without any furniture. what are the standards for renting a rooms in Ontario if any.
1) He knocked again on my door around 09h30 on December 04 of 2022 to show the room to a man. 2) Rent receiver engaged me around noon time in the hallway with another person objecting to my postings and his name on my website. He has objection to my legal protection etc. Rent receiver and few other people from the house thought my postings are not good for image of the house. 3) Rent receiver Knocked on my door again at 14h16 on Sunday 12/04/2022 telling me to make January my last month. I asked him to give it to me in writing.
Tenants rights respect is completely disregarded here. Someone tried to push open the door on December 03 around midnight after I moved in here on December 01. just to show the room to make it double occupancy.
Prior to that around November 29 or so when I was invited for viewing the room (by rent receiver) he forced open the door after using a key, a man was seen sitting in the bed, he spoke to me and shared his program to go back to his work in Germany (by the end of November).
Recived a call from North Peel Brampton Community Legal matter around 16h00 on December 05 regarding this matter what happened over the weekend and during move in on December 01 at this address 10 Conover Ct.
