about common sense , “white lies” and game of make-believe – and why common sense is uncommon – updated August 10 of 2021

Common Sense:

WHITE LIES/make-believe:

“White lies” or make-believe are lies which are known to be lies but socially and legally ignored or accepted unless challenged by those who get impacted by such lies. Term white lies refers to the lies which are whitelisted lies (known lies) as opposed to blacklisted or unacceptable lies by the society.

It is normal and common (with a grain of salt) for politicians and the Govt. agents to tell lies (i.e. called politics) but citizens of democratic countries have no obligation to believe those lies. Rather it is commendable to expose lies (aka deception), corruption and frauds in democracies in the best interest of common people.
