Please train your phone support staff to look at customer’s current information for verification purposes not at obsolete information.
Today on December 31 of 2019 around 16h00 when I called support line, person who answered the phone was referring to a very old comsoc.org email address which was associated with trial version of AZURE account (perhaps 2014 or 2015 time frame) not with the current Office 365 account. This is very unpleasant experience that your phone support staff is unable to understand that information such as email address can not be updated on trial/closed accounts.
Please make them understand that they need to look at current information for verification purposes not at many years old obsolete information.
